Directors sought for county Fair Board, Arts Board

PORT ORCHARD — Kitsap County is accepting applications for the the county Arts Board and the county Fair Board.

Arts Board members encourage and promote private and public programs that further public awareness and develop an interest in the arts and cultural properties.

Fair Board members assist with the planning and operations of the annual county fair. They oversee commercial exhibits and entertainment at the fair. Both boards are advisory and are appointed by the Kitsap County Board of Commissioners.
