Nearly 500 aircraft will descend on Bremerton National Airport for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association’s West Coast Fly-In on Aug. 19-20.

With the Sami gathering in Poulsbo, it seems fitting to recount the story one of the greatest Sami heroes, Anders [or Andrew] Bahr. No Texas trail drive can begin to compare with the distance and hardships he faced during his epic reindeer drive across the frozen arctic. Bahr is buried in Poulsbo.
