In music, a libretto is the text that accompanies an extended work like an opera or ballet.
Literally translated from italian, it means little book. In Central Kitsap, its a little alternative rock three-piece picked best local band by the Central Kitsap Reporter last summer.
The trio releases its first CD Figurehead this week in Kitsap. Its a self-described optional concept album that will hold structure for those whove read 1984, Fahrenheit 451 or Brave New World.
Its available now, $10 at the Washington Academy of Music, the Silverdale music school located under the old Frets and Strings sign off Silverdale Way. Tracks are also available on iTunes.
