Soap Box Derby racers headed to Akron

POULSBO — Three Kitsap racers are headed to Akron, Ohio, to compete in the 73rd All-American Soap Box Derby World Championship. The world championship race begins July 24. Anthony Poggi of Poulsbo automatically earned a seat in Ohio when he won the stock division at the local championship race. Danielle Bosch of Allyn won in the super stock division and is also guaranteed a spot at the world championship. Ryan Wixson of Seabeck is going to the world championship as a regional super stock rally champion for rally points he has earned throughout the season.
