SHOP FOR A CURE: Team Christine's second annual Shop for a Cure sale will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, June 13, at the Northwest Design Center located at the corner of Hostmark & State Route 305. Proceeds benefit Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society.

BREAST CANCER GARAGE SALE: Team Kitsap, a group of women raising money for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day For the Cure breast cancer walk, will host a garage sale fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 13 at the Miller Bay Estates Club House in Indianola. CLASS OF 1980: North Kitsap High class of 1980’s 30-year reunion is planned for the weekend of June 26 and 27. MID-SOMMER FESTIVAL: The Poulsbo Sons of Norway and Historic Downtown Poulsbo Association present the St. Hans/Mid-sommer Festival from 3-5 p.m. Saturday, June 26, at Poulsbo's Waterfront Park. Musicians will come by boat and process the maistång (mid-sommer pole); after the rising of the maistång there will be games and dancing. FOLK MUSIC ENSEMBLE: Sasha, Igor and Arto from Russia will perform a program of Karelian, Finnish and Russian folk music at 7 p.m., Monday, June 28, at the Poulsbo Sons of Norway, 18891 Front St., Poulsbo. CLASS OF 1975: North Kitsap High School’s class of 1975 is planning a 35-year reunion July 24 in Suquamish. Festivities will be from 5-10 p.m. at the Clearwater Casino. ALZHEIMER’S CAREGIVERS’ SUPPORT GROUP: Alzheimer’s Association caregiver support groups provide a consistent and caring place for people to learn, share and gain emotional support from others who are also on a unique journey of providing care to a person with dementia. A free information and support group for care partners, family members and friends of individuals with dementia will be from 7-8:30 p.m. the third Wednesday of each month at the Harrison Medical Center Annex, 750 Lebo Blvd., Bremerton. SEEKING DOCENTS: The Naval Undersea Museum in Keyport is currently recruiting for the Youth Docent Volunteer Program. The program offers young people work experience in a museum. Volunteers work five hours a day three days a week during the busy summer months as well as a few hours monthly during the winter months. Work begins as soon as school is out in the spring. Teens must be between the ages of 13-17 to participate. Youth Docents serve as educational aides and curatorial assistants. They will research, design and build an exhibit. SEEKING VOLUNTEERS: The Nature Conservancy is looking for volunteer stewards to help monitor Foulweather Bluff preserve, a nature preserve in northern Kitsap County near Hansville.
