Brief: Yule Cup and the Lighted boat parade

The Poulsbo Yacht Club’s 40th annual lighted boat parade will be Dec. 18. The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the boats will cruise north around Liberty Bay and then south to Keyport.The boats will then follow a route southeast to Bainbridge Island west of Manzanita Bay. After going through Manzanita, the parade will return northwest to Point Bolin and continue along Nesika Bay and Lemolo. The parade will finish at the Poulsbo Yacht Club at approximately 9 p.m.

Hot cider and cookies will be available for purchase in the pavilion, where celebrants can toss a pine cone into the ceremonial fire and make a resolution, pledge or wish. For more information call (360) 779-3116.
