The Greater Kingston Kiwanis Foundation is offering two $2,500 scholarships to graduating high school seniors. Candidates must have demonstrated significant community service activities that highlight positive character, citizenship, and self-reliance. The scholarships are dedicated to the memories of two founding members of the Greater Kingston Kiwanis Club, Robert “Bud” Meredith and Sylvester “Cy” Wyse, who lived a large portion of their lives in service to others in North Kitsap. The scholarship applicant must live in the North Kitsap areas of Kingston, Hansville, Eglon, Indianola or Suquamish and be a U.S. citizen.

Completed application packages must be received by the Greater Kingston Kiwanis Foundation by April 1, 2010. Interested students can obtain an application package from their counselor at Kingston High School, North Kitsap High School, Spectrum School, Crosspoint Academy or West Sound Academy.
