POULSBO ARTS FESTIVAL: Poulsbo Arts Festival will be from noon to 6 p.m. Aug. 14, from 10 a.m to 6 p.m. Aug. 15 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Poulsbo’s Waterfront Park. There will be music, arts and crafts booths and children’s activities.
POND INFORMATION DAY: The Olympic Koi, Goldfish and Water Garden Club will have a Pond Information Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 15 at Roadhouse Nursery, 12511 Central Valley Road NW, Poulsbo, to answer questions about ponds and provide practical advice. RUMMAGE SALE: St. Elizabeth Orthodox Mission Church is hosting a multi-family rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 21 and 22 in the Poulsbo Business Park at 20714 2A located on State HWY 305 between Little Valley and Bond Road. The annual sale will feature many items including furniture, household items, clothing and more.
CHUCKWAGON: Chuckwagon Senior Nutrition Program will host a Hawaiian themed lunch on Aug. 21 in Poulsbo. The meal will include Orange Poppy Seed Salad, Hawaiian Pork, Brown Rice Pilaf, Oriental Vegetables, Whole Wheat Roll & Coconut Pudding. Seniors age 60 and over welcome. $3 suggested donation. OPTIMISTS CLUB: The North Kitsap Optimists Club meets at 5:30 p.m. the first and third Wednesday of the month at the Poulsbo Inn.
MCS SUPPORT GROUP: The Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Support Group meets from 1-3 p.m. the last Monday of the month at the Poulsbo Library. Members suffer severe reactions to perfumes, cigarette smoke, car exhaust, dryer sheets, building materials, etc. At the meetings, members explore health-improving ideas, employment, housing, safe products and friendship.
