Tyler, Pettigrew wed

Bethany Tyler, daughter of Rod and Kelly Tyler of Poulsbo and 2003 graduate of NKHS, married Matthew Pettigrew, son of Dave and Beth Pettigrew of Vancouver, British Columbia, on July 12. The wedding ceremony and reception took place at Bear Creek Country Club in Woodinville, with Joe Blakey officiating. Blakey is the principal of Puebla Christian School in Mexico where the couple has been serving as teachers. The couple met at Trinity Western University in Langley, B.C. The bride graduated from TWU with a bachelor’s degree in English, minor in Spanish in 2007. The groom graduated in 2008 from TWU with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, minor in human kinetics. The happy couple are enjoying their honeymoon in the French Riviera and Italy before making their first home in Langley together.
