POULSBO — Allison Pace was crowned Miss Viking Fest and Luci Norton was crowned Little Miss Viking Fest in the pageant April 27 at North Kitsap Auditorium.

Brianna Berkhout and Connie Sue Vargas were named Miss Viking Fest princesses. Nikki Morgan-Reyes and Kallan Anderson were named Little Miss Viking Fest princesses.

Approximately 300 people attended the pageant, according to pageant director Kari McKinsey.

As the Miss Viking Fest title winner, Pace receives a $1,500 scholarship from the Viking Fest Corporation. Each Miss Viking Fest princess receives a $750 scholarship, McKinsey said.

The Viking Fest court serves for one year and represents Viking Fest at public events. Viking Fest is held each May and celebrates the heritage of Poulsbo’s early Norwegian settlers, who arrived beginning in the 1880s. Viking Fest coincides with Norway’s Constitution Day.
