POULSBO — Lucile Evelyn (Andersen) Clause, 94, of Poulsbo, died Feb 20.

She was born Feb 2, 1919 in Sioux City, Iowa, to Mary and Harry Andersen.

She and Bernard (Bud) Clause were married on April 16, 1942 in Kahoka, Mo. They relocated to California during Bud’s World War II Navy tour, eventually settling in Concord, Calif., where they raised their two daughters.

They moved to Poulsbo in 1999 to be closer to their daughters and their families. Lucile became a big fan of the Mariners and Tiger Woods. Bud died in 2007.

Lucile was also preceded in death by her brothers, Marvin, Melvin, Richard and Robert She is survived by her daughters, Carol Trice and Barbara Bartholomew (Larry), of Poulsbo; grandchildren, Tyler Bartholomew (Jennifer) of San Marcos, Calif., Meghan Bartholomew Ebert (Leighton) of Edmonds,  Susan Trice Hoffman (John) of Kingston; and great-grandchildren, Ava and Aidan Bartholomew of San Marcos, Calif., and Sabrina and Lillie Hoffman of Kingston.

At Lucile’s request, there will be no formal service. Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Kitsap County, P.O. Box 3416, Silverdale, WA 98383.
