Public meeting March 5 about Suquamish sewer rehab project

SUQUAMISH — Learn more about the Suquamish sewer rehabilitation project March 5, 6:30 p.m., in the Suquamish Elementary School Library, 18950 Park Ave. NE.

A study was undertaken in 2012 to evaluate the sewer system in Suquamish. Sewer mains and other pipes will be replaced within the Division Avenue quadrant, at a cost of $2.2 million. According to the county, the project will reduce the flow to the Suquamish Treatment Plant by 255 gallons per minute.
