BAINBRIDGE — Russell Bruce died Jan. 3 from injuries suffered in a car accident. He was 34.

Russell was born in Bremerton on Feb. 8, 1978. He was employed by Woodchuck Const-ruction as a crew foreman, a job he loved. He enjoyed fishing and camping, Seattle sports, NASCAR, and spending time with family and friends. Russell loved his family and friends fiercely. He will be missed by many.

Russell is survived by his parents, Lisa and Robert; son, Nolan Bruce; sister, Tera Bruce of Hansville; and grandparents, Vernal and LaRee Black of Salt Lake City, Utah. He also leaves many dearly loved cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and his dear partner and friend, Autumn Christian. His son was his best buddy.

A celebration of his life will be held on Russell’s 35th birthday, Feb. 8, 1-4 p.m., at the Kitsap Conference Center at Bremerton Harborside, 100 Washington Ave., Bremerton.

A scholarship fund has been established for Nolan. Mail to the Russell J. Bruce Memorial Account at Kitsap Credit Union, P.O. Box 990, Bremerton, WA 98337, or drop off at any branch.
