Amelia Dean Dempsey was born Oct. 29, 12:54 p.m. to Kymberly and Adam Dempsey of Snohomish, at Harrison Medical Center in Silverdale.

Amelia weighed 6 pounds 4 ounces and measured 21 inches.

She was welcomed by her brother, Jordan Purser; sisters, Halle Purser and Hailey Dempsey; grandparents, Mike and Shelley Peterson of Port Angeles, Sandy and Mike McLaughlin of Poulsbo, Ken and Barbara Dempsey of Snohomish, Shiela and Jeff Rice of Tennessee, and Danny Nash of Tennessee; great-grandmother, Ginny Shattuck of Oregon; and great-great-grandmother, Leona Wilson of Oregon.
