Pearl Harbor survivors will participate in remembrance ceremony at Keyport

KEYPORT — “Lest We Forget,” Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport’s 19th annual Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony, will be held Dec. 7, 11 a.m., at the Naval Undersea Museum, Keyport.
The highlight of the ceremony: Local Pearl Harbor survivors will share their memories of the attack.
Capt. David K. Kohnke, commander, NUWC Keyport, will serve as master of ceremonies. Capt. Mike Mathews, U.S. Navy (Ret.), will provide an overview of the attack on Pearl Harbor while photos of that day’s events are shown. Lake Washington VFW Post 2995 Honor Guard will present colors and Navy Band Northwest will provide instrumental music.
This event is free and open to the public.
