INDIANOLA — Robert Carl Mutchler passed away at his home Sept. 8 after a nine-month battle with cancer.
He was 66. He was a long-time resident of the Kingston and Indianola area.
He was born in Seattle at the Waldo Hospital on Dec. 21, 1945 to Robert and Dorothy Mutchler. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather, a good friend to many in and out of the area. He will be missed.
Bob is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Tami (Tom) Fallon of Whidbey, Todd (Staci) Mutchler of Port Orchard, Scott A. Mutchler of Bremerton, Rachel (Greg) Trueb of Indianola, and Lisa A. Meek of Bremerton; sisters, Sharon C. Mutchler of Mount Vernon, Ohio, and Nancy (Scott) Cannon of Covington; grandchildren, TJ Fallon, Trent Fallon, Olive Trueb, Cider Trueb and River Corey; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Bob proudly served as a Marine in Viet Nam, and worked in the communication field for most of his career. Bob was retired and loved working around town and at home doing carpentry work, which he loved.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held Sept. 15, 1 p.m., at the Indianola Foursquare Church.
