Rauth awarded the Maxine Davidson Scholarship

CHENEY — Jessica Rauth, 23, of Poulsbo has been awarded the Maxine Davidson Scholarship for $2,155 for the 2012-13 academic year at Eastern Washington University.

Rauth graduated in 2007 from North Kitsap High School, where she was involved in Running Start, the Honors Society and the Teen Mentor Program.At Eastern, she is a graduate student in literacy, participates in the Eastern Reading Council, and is working as a substitute teacher. She plans to become a literacy specialist/coach.

Rauth is the daughter of Sharla and Roger Rauth of Poulsbo.
