Eight residents win scholarships at U. of Idaho

MOSCOW, Idaho — The following Poulsbo residents have been awarded scholarships by the University of Idaho:
Caelan Teresa Colyer.
Johnny C. Correll.
Natalie Marie Fritsch.
Kerri A. McGinty.
Shannon Kealoha Nakaya.
Kyle Thomas Paul.
Kayla Rene Raines.
Kathryn Marie Wright.
They are among more than 5,400 students awarded almost $30 million in scholarship support from the University of Idaho for the 2011-12 academic year.
“We understand the family financial challenges in the current environment,” said Dan Davenport, director of Student Financial Aid Services at the university.
“We are committed to a strong scholarship program that provides access and will continue bringing the best and brightest to the University of Idaho.”
