HANSVILLE — The families of Sten Emons Johnson and Krysta Brai Bouchard are pleased to announce their engagement.

Sten is the son of Greg and Nicci Johnson of Hansville.  He is a 2002 graduate of North Kitsap High School, a 2006 graduate of the University of Washington and is employed by the Allegis Group Services in Kirkland.

Krysta is the daughter of Mike and Chris Bouchard of Custer. She is a 2006 graduate of Ferndale High School, a 2010 graduate of the University of Washington and is employed by the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office in Seattle.

They met through mutual friends at a sailing function in 2009 and became engaged on Christmas Day 2011. An August 2012 wedding is planned at the Johnson family home in Hansville.
