Ejde completes Army basic training

POULSBO — Army Spec. Miranda C. Ejde has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
During nine weeks of training, Ejde studied the Army’s core values, history, mission and tradition; physical fitness; and received instruction and practice in basic first aid, combat skills, drill and ceremony, field training exercises, foot marches, field tactics, map reading, military courtesy, military justice system, military weapons, and rifle marksmanship.
Ejde is the daughter of Lars Ejde of Northwest Finn Hill Road, Poulsbo. She is a 2006 graduate of North Kitsap High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in 2010 from Pennsylvania State University.
