Shirlee Emma Williams (Maus) | Passages

Shirlee Emma Williams (Maus) went to the arms of the Angels with her family by her side April 18, after a short illness. She was 81.

Born Dec. 16, 1930 in Port Angeles to Roy and Johanna Maus, Shirlee lived in Poulsbo and graduated from North Kitsap High School in 1949.

She met and married Wallace Williams in 1955 when he was in the Navy.

She traveled all over the U.S., but loved Hawai’i the most.

Preceded in death by parents Roy and Johanna, sister Beverly and brother Roy and daughter Shannon and grandson David.

Survived by her loving husband, Wallace, of 56 years, children Kim Williams (Mark), Jon Williams (Caron), Stacy Rasmussen (Jim), and Jeff Williams (Yumi), 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Shirlee loved gardening, animals, Hawai’i, music and all her family.

Visitation services were held at El Camino Memorial and burial at Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to your local animal shelter/Humane Society/SPCA.
