POULSBO — Stanley Lewis Allen of Poulsbo died March 13 at Harrison Hospital in Bremerton. He was 82.

Graduated from Highline High School in Burien. Married Lorena Mae Smith in August 1947.

Preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Leila Allen; brother, Gene; sister, Ethel Dell; grandson, Ryan.

Survived by wife, Lorena; sons, Dave and Dan; daughter, Sue; sister, Kathryn; grandsons, Christopher and Jason; 14 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; extended family Jo Novak, Justin and Ashley James, Mike and Kimberly Routsong.

Worked as a Seattle transit driver, for Sears, Zales, Prudential Life, and as a real estate appraiser, agent, broker and property manager. Retired from his favorite position as property manager of North Kitsap Medical Center because of failing health. In his early years, served as youth director and interim pastor in Baptist and Nazarene churches. Enjoyed golf, the Seahawks and gardening. Always had a joke to tell.

Memorial service May 5, 11 a.m., Stone Chapel Poulsbo Mortuary.
