Alice Shea | Passages

KINGSTON — Alice Shea, a long-time Kingston resident, went to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, March 15, 2012. She was 91.

Graveside service was on March 26, 1 p.m., at Kingston Cemetery.

Her family emigrated from Poland to Canada. She spent her young adult life in Vancouver. She was a cat lover, avid skier, ice skater, hiker, and loved to make rugs.

In 1950, she married Don Shea and worked as a cook for the VA in Seattle before moving to Kingston. Alice was well-known in Kingston for her daily walks to the post office, store and bank. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1978.

Thanks to neighbors, friends, Montclair Park, Harbor House, and the West Adult Family Home for her care.
