KINGSTON — Troy Darien Stinson of Kingston lost his battle with stomach cancer on March 12. He was 47.
Troy was born on Oct 21, 1964 to Adele (Bergerson) and Ronald Stinson in Burien. He graduated from North Kitsap High School, where he was an all-around athlete lettering in basketball, baseball and football. He also loved soccer, snow skiing and water skiing, and karate. He earned the rank of Black Belt.
He worked in the hardwood floor business most of his life.
He was very easygoing, had a loving personality, and was loved by all his friends and family.
Troy was preceded in death by his grandmother, Claire Ludwick.
He is survived by his wife, Lori Harsila of Kingston; his daughters, Ariana and Carly, and son, Darien Stinson; stepdaughters, Megan, Chelsea and McKinzie Harsila; mother and stepfather, Adele and Ronald Bergerson; father and stepmother, Ronald and Sandy Stinson.
He is also survived by his sister, Tracy (Jamie) Schiele; brother, Jeff (Jen) Bergerson; nephew, Cory Waterman; grandmother, Elizabeth Bergerson; granddaughter, Olivia Hall; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held at Suquamish Congregational Church UCC on March 17 at 3 p.m.
