Kenneth Harold Littlefish Durant | Passages

SUQUAMISH — Kenneth Harold Littlefish Durant died March 2. He was 65.

He was born to Leonard Durant and Maxine (Stanley) Durant April 12, 1946 in Chicago, Ill. He was of the Ojibwe Nation, enrolled at White Earth, Minn. About 1985, Kenneth walked onto the Sundance Road and lived in his spiritual commitment for the rest of his life. He was ordained a minister of the Native American Church in 1988. Wherever he lived and traveled, a community of spirit grew around him. He is sorely missed. Spirit called him home March 2, 2012.

Kenneth lived near Port Angeles with his wife Nancy and his daughter Mashkiki. He is also survived by three sons, two adopted daughters, three nieces, two nephews and a vast extended family.

Services will be held March 9 at noon at the House of Awakened Culture in Suquamish.
