Robert “Pete” Collins | Obituary

Robert “Pete” Collins died on Jan. 3. He was 80.

Pete was born on July 1, 1931 in Nebraska.

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1948-1952.

Pete was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Helen.

His memory will live on with his daughters, Kathleen (Robert) Prybylski, Sherrie (Duane) Strom and Eileen Collins; grandchildren, Karryn Gabel, Rob Collins, Jesse Friedley; and four great-grandchildren, Alexis, Marcus, Logan and Gabriel. Pete was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Condolence cards can be sent c/o Sherrie Strom, 5144 Baltic St. NW, Gig Harbor, WA 98332.
