KINGSTON — F. LaVonne Collins, a long- time resident of Kingston,  passed away peacefully on Dec. 29 at Martha and Mary Health and Rehab in Poulsbo, due to complications of COPD.

She was 82.

LaVonne was born Sept. 12, 1929 in Seattle.   She worked at the Boeing Company for 27 years before retiring in 1991.

She is survived by her daughter, Michele Gantt (husband George); son, Bill Collins (wife Barbara); son, Bob Collins (wife Lori); one grandson, three granddaughters, two great-grandsons and a great-granddaughter.

Donations may be made to Martha and Mary Health and Rehab, 19160 Front St. NE, Poulsbo, WA. 98370, where LaVonne received outstanding care and support in her last weeks.

The family will have a private Celebration of Life at a future date.
