Moores celebrate 60 years

The Rev. Donald and Hazel Moore recently celebrated their 60th anniversary at Pacific Beach.

They celebrated with their daughter and son-in-law, Brett and Cheryll Lund of Laurel, Mont.; daughter and son-in-law Kevin and Tamara Roche from Maple Valley; granddaughter Leah Lund and her daughter Kaitlyn from Billings, Mont.; and granddaughter Kandra Diefenderfer and her husband, Craig, from Billings. They also have a son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Roberta Moore, living in Romania as missionaries. Doug Moore’s daughter, Andrea Parmalee and her husband, Ray, live in Elizabeth, Colo., with their three children Tanner, Brayden and Sienna.

Moore served Immanuel Lutheran Church in Grandview from 1966 to 1971 and Vinland Lutheran Church in Poulsbo from June 1971 until he retired in October 1988. They recently moved back to Poulsbo.

They were married June 23, 1950, at at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Eugene, Ore.
