During her tenure of two years, the chamber moved its offices from 8th Avenue to Highway 305, meetings became more focused on networking and on newsworthy speaker programs, and membership grew from 328 to more than 450.

Kitsap County pulled its compacting trash cans from downtown Kingston along Highway 104 this week. Providing a convenient way for visitors to the heavily trafficked downtown area to dispose of their trash is now up to local merchants.

Owners of Kingston Adventures appeal decision; could pay more than $10K in fees

The owners of Kingston Adventures could pay more than $10,000 in costs and attorney fees for the lawsuit to evict them from the Port of Kingston's small watercraft dock. Kitsap County Superior Court ruled in favor of the port in its lawsuit to evict Beth and Rob Brewster from eight storage units, Aug. 1.
