Whiskey Creek Ranch House Grill open for biz

Whiskey Creek Ranch House Grill in downtown Poulsbo will open at 2 p.m. beginning this March with appetizers, salads, and burgers offered in the lounge on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Full dinners will be available at 4 p.m. daily and there will be live entertainment on Thursday, Friday and Saturday beginning at 6 p.m. with Western guitarist Marcus Dean.

Maria Marsala named Chic of the Week

Maria Marsala was named the Chic of the Week on Feb. 10, an award for women business owners by The Chic Entrepreneur. Marsala was featured on ChicEntrepreneur.com with a full-page profile highlighting her success in business. The Chic of the Week Award was developed by Elizabeth Gordon, author of “The Chic Entrepreneur: Put Your Business in Higher Heels” as a way to help women in business highlight and share their success. Maria Marsala is a strategic coach, consultant and trainer at Elevating Your Business in Poulsbo.

Liberty Bay Books, 18881-D Front Street in Poulsbo, will celebrate its 13th year of operation in March. Each week that month will feature special events.

KEDA hosts seminar

The Kitsap Economic Development Alliance is hosting a seminar for small businesses titled Business Success When Times are Tough. The seminar will give business owners the information they need to sustain their businesses during trying economic times.

It will be from 7 a.m. to noon Feb. 27 at the Oxford Suites, 9550 Silverdale Way NW in Silverdale. Registration is $20.
