Megan Nightengale, AuD of Peninsula Hearing Inc. is among the outstanding hearing care professionals honored by the 2008 Oticon Focus on People Awards, a national competition that recognizes individuals who are helping to eliminate negative stereotypes of what it means to have hearing loss. Nightingale’s selection as a winner in the Practitioner Category was announced at the 11th annual Oticon Focus on People Awards Ceremony in Denver. She donates her services to the Lion’s Club Hearing Aid Bank and is often invited to speak to local Hearing Loss Association groups to provide information on the latest information and techniques to deal with communications issues.
