Food will get you free admission at Firehouse Theater

March 15, 2013 · Updated 2:30 PM

KINGSTON – Firehouse Theater, in partnership with the Kingston Food Bank, will give free admission to a major motion picture on April 4 at 7:45 p.m.

Each attendee who comes to see the selected PG-13 film should bring at least one non-perishable food item in lieu of the cost of admission. All non-perishable items received will be donated to the Kingston Food Bank.

“Needy families and the homeless are hungry all year round, not just during the holidays,” said Craig Smith, Firehouse owner and operator.

“The current economic situation for many families in Kitsap County is still dire. We want to continue doing our part. People need help.”

Firehouse Theater (www.firehouse-theater.com) is located at 11171 Highway 104, four blocks from the Kingston ferry landing. Attendees are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes before show time.
