LITTLE BOSTON —  Spring is coming early at The Point.

The gaming and entertainment venue brought in more than 100 yards of sand to transform its Event Center into a beach for the Spring Break Beach Party, a series of concert performances and events in February and March.

The Event Center will be warmed to a 80 degrees, like a summer day at the beach, marketing director Ian Hay said in a press release. The concert series opens Feb. 2 with Garratt Wilkin & the Parrot Heads, a Jimmy Buffet tribute, and continues on following Saturdays with Mardi Gras at the Beach, a dance revue, and blues, funk and rock concerts.

The Point Casino (www.the-point-casino.com) is owned by the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe.
