Viking Avenue gas station gets site approval

December 21, 2012 · Updated 1:40 PM

POULSBO — A proposed gas station on Viking Avenue has been conditionally approved.

Hungsung LLC applied for a site plan review, type II permit, for a gas station at 21985 Viking Ave., northwest of the corner of Viking and State Route 305.

Planning Director  Barry Berezowski approved the site plan Oct. 26, but required mitigations under the State Environmental Policy Act.

The site will include a 4,918-square-foot building, with a convenience store and a fast-food restaurant with a drive through. The gas station will feature four fuel pump stations. A car wash station will be phased in at a later date.

The site will include 34 parking spaces, stormwater management and landscaping. There will be two access points from Viking Avenue.

The site plan and planning documents can be reviewed at the planning department at City Hall.
