Outdoor event center proposed on Lofall Road

December 21, 2012 · Updated 1:39 PM

POULSBO — The owners of Red Cedar Farm applied for a county conditional use permit to provide an outdoor facility for weddings and community events.

Gregg and Andrea Sampson of Red Cedar Farm on Lofall Road outside Poulsbo propose a year-round outdoor event center on 10 acres, and an additional 10.37 acres of undeveloped land at a later date. Both properties are zoned rural residential and are served by on-site septic disposal and on-site wellwater.

The record was closed Dec. 20, and the hearing examiner will make a decision in two weeks.
