POULSBO — Musicians in Kitsap County have a new recording studio available for their recording, mixing and mastering needs.

Rabbit Hole Recording has opened at 522 NW Bay St., in Poulsbo.

Rabbit Hole Recording combines the qualities of analog sound with the convenience and high-tech advantage of digital mixing and recording.

“I wanted to build a studio that suits the needs of artists and bands of all genres of music,” owner James Newman said. “I believe RHR will appeal to just about anyone who is looking to record music and get a professional, high quality, and market-ready sound.”

The studio is offering discounts to high school and college students looking to record demos. The studio also provides an experienced audio engineer with each recording or mixing session, and can provide lessons in audio engineering to anyone interested in learning the ropes.

Local artists already recording at Rabbit Hole include Detox Junky, Jael Johnson, Tim Fowler, and The Exchange.
