POULSBO — Consultant and executive coach Dan Weedin (www.DanWeedin.com) recently provided a comprehensive training workshop for the Naval Facilities Eng-ineering Com-mand unit at Bangor. NAVFAC is the facilities and expeditionary combat systems command arm of Naval Base Kitsap.

The workshop was held for 22 participants on the Bangor base.

The training is part of a leadership development program NAVFAC is employing to help interns assimilate more quickly and efficiently into the unit. Weedin is one of fewer than 40 master mentors in the world under the accreditation of Summit Consulting Group’s Alan Weiss. Topics covered include communication and language skills, time management, generations in the workplace, social styles, and problem solving.

Weedin, a member of the North Kitsap School Board, offers his mentoring training for private and public companies and organizations as well.
