June 15, 2012 · Updated 12:54 PM

POULSBO — Local Windermere Real Estate associates join several thousand of the counterparts throughout the Western United States today in community service projects in their neighborhoods.

Each year, every Windermere office chooses a project that meets local needs. Windermere offices from Mukilteo to Missoula will donate more than 55,000 hours of service during this year's Windermere Community Service Day.

Nearly 300 Windermere offices will be involved in projects that include cleaning, landscaping, and painting to benefit senior citizens centers, facilities for physically and mentally challenged children and adults, public parks and schools, low income housing and emergency shelters, among others.

Poulsbo Windermere agents will clean and make repairs at Snider Park. Kingston Windermere agents will work at Village Green Park. Bainbridge Windermere agents will clean the Bainbridge High School campus.
