New membership coordinator for Kitsap Food Co-op

The Kitsap Community Food Co-op has hired Melanie Malcolm as its new membership coordinator.

Malcolm is a Bremerton resident. She spent eight years working in retail sales and management for Sears, followed by self-employment from 2010 to the present. She is the owner of Mel’s Bells Jewelry, creating handmade jewelry and prayer beads.

Malcolm is a graduate of Washington CASH’s (Community Alliance for Self-Help) Business Development Program.
