POULSBO — David Gitch of Poulsbo has been appointed director emeritus of Kitsap Bank.

He served on the Kitsap Bank Board of Directors since 1998, and reached the mandatory retirement age for active board members.

Kitsap Bank Chair-woman Cydly Langer Smith said Gitch has been “an invaluable asset” as a board member and as a member of the board’s Audit Committee.

Founded in 1908, Kitsap Bank has 21 locations and more than $900 million in assets.
